This web site has been designed in line with published guidelines on accessible web sites. The size and colours of the text can be controlled by your browser.

All graphics should have appropriate text for screen readers and appropriate document structure.

File formats.

This web site uses HTML 4.01 compliant web pages and CSS compliant style sheets, which aid accessibility. Animations have also been made compliant, in line with R.N.I.B. recommendations..

The site makes use of Adobe Acrobat files in the newsletter area, for which you will need the Acrobat plug in. This can be downloaded from the Adobe web site: www.adobe.com. The Adobe web site has the facility to display Acrobat files as standard web pages. Some Acrobat newsletters are old files and cannot be recreated to work fully on screen readers. The files should flow correctly but some images may not be tagged correctly.

Reporting Accessibility Errors and Suggesting Improvements.

Web sites can not be checked reliably for accessible issues using automated procedures. Therefore, errors can arise however careful we try to be.
