December 2010: new BSI standard launched

UK standards-setting body BSI has published the first British standard on web accessibility. The web sites of organisations which follow the guidance will be accessible to users with disabilities.

The Standard is priced at £100, or £50 for BSI members. The draft version is available on the BSI website for free. Meanwhile, the archive item on the previous BSI document of 2006 gives an idea of the new document's content and emphases.
