Accessible web sites: sources of help
- B.S.I. The British Standards Institute has published material to assist companies in purchasing an accessible web site. The P.A.S. 78 document is aimed at purchasers rather than web developers.
- G.A.W.D.S. The Guild of Accessible Web Designers.
- A.A.P. The Association of Accessibility Professionals, an organisation dedicated to raising the standards of accessible web sites. This body has closed now but a Google search will help you find many of the experts who were involved in the group.
- Staffordshire Media. We will work with companies to test and improve existing web sites, or to develop new web sites. We are also happy to work with other web design companies, many of whom are design specialists or programming specialists rather than accessibility specialists.
